Design Crossings

crossings is a speculative magazine that explores creative intersections–that is, the spaces in which seemingly disparate disciplines intersect and come together. This particular issue’s focus is on design and health.

Researching on the pieces for the publication revealed the ways in which design and healthcare shared the same heart–a desire to understand human needs and create solutions for the observable gaps. Supporting this, articles on topics about medical packaging, graphic medicine, campaigns for public health, the patient environment, as well as multi-disciplinary innovations are laid out.

crossings is coptic stitched, with mini-booklet inserts added when appropriate to enhance the readers’ understanding and experience of the topics.
